Guard (Dhondhu) gives all the newspapers to Rakesh. He assures Rakesh and Vanita that no paper is available outside. Vanita tells him to tell anyone who enquires about the paper that it will come late. Take it from here later on. Dhondhu agrees. Rakesh thanks Vanita for her help. She tells him to thank her once they succeed.

Naina comes to office. She walks up to Sharon who is preparing the list of actors. She says I was about to. Do you have some work? Naina is curious about the story and telecast. Sharon says I don’t know about the story but it will air 4 days in a week. Naina makes random talk with her. She drops a file intentionally. Sharon bends to pick it. Naina is about to add the photos in the file when Bakshi comes there. He asks Sharon to give him the list and sends Naina

to her desk. Naina goes. Bakshi tells Sharon to call all these actors.
Aditya asks Rakesh if the plan will work. Rakesh tells him to wait and watch. Gopal is looking for newspaper outside the main door. He calls out to his wife. Rakesh and Aditya are watching everything. Sejal also tells her in-laws that no one got paper today. Gopal rues that he cannot live his life without paper. I could have done anything but I decided to become a writer! I had a passion to be something. I wanted to make a change. The newspaper tells people that something is going on in the world. Without it, everything seems dull. I feel good when I read the paper in the morning. It feels so incomplete without it. Rakesh steps out. Aditya feels similar way about acting. It isn’t a pass time. Not everyone can be this passionate. He must have gotten it from you! I have come here for this reason only. You will be very proud the day he becomes something. Aditya looks at his father who heads inside. Gauri and Sejal follow him sadly.

Aditya tells Rakesh to let it be. He wont understand. I don’t understand why he does not realise that we should let people do what they like. He walks away sadly.

Voiceover – Naina:
I had to only add the photos in the file. I agree it wasn’t easy but it was comparatively easy back then as it wasn’t digitalised. This cheating was important but it was a war for our dream. After all, they say that everything is fair in love and war.

Bakshi is talking to Sharon about the auditions when Naina walks in. She pretends to faint. Bakshi worries.

Gauri asks Gopal to call Aditya if you are missing him. Let’s go home. Gopal denies. His wife says I know you are sitting here to see a glance of him. Rakesh comes there. Gauri stops Gopal from turning rude. Rakesh shares that he has started tutoring the kids as I want to do it. Naina and Sameer are supporting me in this. Gauri says this isn’t anything wrong. Gopal calls it compulsion. He is living in the house of his SIL after all. Rakesh says they have never said anything but I don’t like it. He asks Rakesh to go home then. Rakesh says I had to come. I also have a son named Arjun. Sejal asks him why he does not stay with Arjun. Rakesh goes quiet. Sejal apologizes to him for intervening in his personal matter. Rakesh says it is okay. I wanted to stay with my son but I couldn’t. What I did to him was just what Gopal is doing with his son! I am staying with Naina when I really want to be with my son. I am telling you guys all this as Gopal isn’t upset over whatever happened.

Bakshi scolds Naina for passing out. I just asked you to type one script! How will you become a writer? He tells Sharon to end Naina’s internship today itself. Naina says I came to give you the script only. I was typing the entire night and dint even eat anything. He sends Naina with Sharon to eat something. Naina smiles.

Rakesh says I always forced my dream upon my son. I never asked him what he wants to do! I pushed him towards cricket but he couldn’t do it. He failed in it as his heart wasn’t in it. It is natural. One loses trust on themselves. He lost both in life and cricket. I don’t know when I pushed my son away from me. I cannot end that distance even if I want to. I request you not to walk on the same path or you will only end up with regrets. He leaves. Gopal looks at his wife who nods at him. Gopal nods.

Bakshi and the team are discussion about the prospective storyline. A girl spills ink on her file. Bakshi asks his team till when will they write on papers. Technology has advanced. Naina counters him. The magic is different when the story is weaved on papers. Bakshi glares at her.

Sameer and Rakesh are boosting Aditya’s morale but he stands with a sad face. Rakesh adds that Naina has put the photo in the file. You both will be famous now and give autographs! Aditya says will it make Baba happy. I would like it when he will be proud. I would feel as if I have achieved something only when my Baba will walk with his head held high. He begins to go when he notices his Baba standing at the door. Aditya retreats in his steps. Gopal walks in. He tells Aditya he has to hear him now. Stay quiet.

Bakshi tells Naina that this magic will disappear soon. You are talking as if you have written 100 hit films! Naina apologizes to him. I was only sharing what I thought. He tells her to choose the story on which they should work. He keeps taunting her as she fumbles. She speaks of a mother-son’s story. She isn’t his real mother. We should show a different angle to a step mother. We have always believed otherwise. Other teammates think that more characters will be required. Naina shares her point of view behind her idea. He taunts her for her narrow minded thoughts. You wont be able to do it so let it be! He asks another girl to write one liners and a storyline for one of the chosen ideas. Naina stands there with a sad face.

Gopal says I dint know you love your Baba so much. I couldn’t understand it. Please forgive your oldie now. Aditya tells him not to apologize. I will apologize. I have played many games with you. Gopal shushes him. You wouldn’t have to hide anything if I knew the actor which was inside you. I have understood everything now. Go and fulfil your dreams. I will walk with a high head with you in the society. Everyone smiles.
