On 27th February, 1931, Chandra tells about the day when he went to the park, the day became history, John actually found him. Inspector sees Chandra sitting under the tree. He calls up John. John says its him, its over. He rushes. Chandra meets Siraj. He says the game is about this note. He faces a bullet attack. Everyone runs. Chandra turns to see. He sees John and entire police force open firing. John shoots Chandra in his leg. Chandra shoots at some policemen. He asks Siraj to run. Siraj refuses to go. Chandra says don’t worry about me. He sends Siraj and shoots at the policemen. He gets the other gun and shoots at them.

Chandra gets shot in his chest and leg once again. He sits down behind the tree. He thinks I still have life in me, I have promised myself that I won’t die by any Britishers’

bullet, but by my own bullet. He loads the gun for himself. He sees Jagrani coming to him. She sings a lullaby for him. He smiles. He says Amma….She disappears. He thinks I will face the enemies’ bullet, I m Azad and I will always be Azad. He shoots at his head. John and everyone hear the gun shot and go to check. They look behind the tree. They find Chandra dead. People rebel on knowing Azad’s death. They ask the police for Azad’s dead body. Tandon says he was just 23 year old, you have to give us his body. The inspector says we didn’t get any order. Kamla Nehru comes there.
Kamla goes on and comes out. She says Azad’s body isn’t inside. The constable says Azad’s body is taken by his family. Tandon asks who has come to claim his body. Constable says Shiv Mishra came to take him. Kamla asks where. More people join in. Kamla goes to the ghat and asks for Chandra’s body. The lady says yes, his last rites is done, was he a big man. Kamla says a big freedom fighter. The lady says policemen has hidden his body and burnt him. Kamla says we didn’t reach on time. Everyone runs to the pyre. Voiceover, Chandra’s final rites were done away from the city, but the police was scared, knowing none can stop India from getting free.

On 23th March, 1931, Sukhdev refuses to wear handcuffs. Bimal asks him to wear it. Rajguru asks what happened, you can get the handcuffs. Sukhdev asks why. Rajguru says they shouldn’t force us. Bhagat asks what happened, who made you sad. Sukhdev says I agree to wear the cuffs for my friend’s sake. They get emotional. Bhagat says we told you Genda, we will reform you. He shouts Inqelaab zindabad… and go. Genda and Bimal get sad. Bhagat sings Mera rang de…… and goes. Bhagat’s family comes to the jail and cries for him. Bhagat, Rajguru and Sukhdev smile seeing the rope noose. They go ahead to get hanged to death.
