14 years leap in Zee TV’s Kaala Teeka; entire cast to move out

Zee TV seems to have taken a New Year resolution to bring varied flavors in their shows.

With Yeh Vaada Raha shutting shop, the upcoming shows Bin Kuch Kahe, Koi Apna Sa and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, are all set to enthrall viewers in the days to come.

After going through major changes in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, the channel is currently working on the new-feel drama in Kaala Teeka.

Yes, as per our sources, the above DJ’s Creative Unit daily is set to take 14 years leap. The entire cast inclusive of Mayank Gandhi, Vineet Raina, Fenil Umrigar, Rohan Gandotra and Dalljiet Kaur will move out, post the story jump.

Lead actress Simran Pareenja, we hear, will be the only actor to be retained if things fall in place. Simran, if continues with the serial, will go on to play her daughter Pavitra’s role.

The creative team is still working on the storyline on how the present track and characters will come to an end.

Vineet confirmed his exit and shared, “Yes, my character will die. I am fortunate to have got the chance to play the role of Devri. Kaala Teeka has challenged me as an actor and I am happy to explored my abilities. I thank the cast and crew and fans for their support.”

We tried to reach out to Simran and Rohan, but they remained unavailable to comment, while the channel spokesperson did not comment till the time of filing the article.
